ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

What Is the North Shore Huakaʻi?

Huakaʻi means journey in Hawaiian. This one is only $5 per person.

For just $5 roundtrip, board a daily shuttle from convenient pickup locations in Waikīkī or Ko Olina. The full experience runs 6 to 7 hours, including transportation — giving you a full day to explore two of Oʻahu's most storied communities, Waialua and Haleʻiwa, at your own pace.

No set itinerary. No tour guide. Eat where you want, shop where you feel called, and connect with the people and places that make the North Shore unlike anywhere else on the island.

Created in the wake of the March 2026 floods that impacted North Shore businesses and families, the North Shore Huakaʻi is a community-led effort to bring visitors and kamaʻāina back to the businesses that need them most. Every ticket you purchase supports local recovery.

For only $5, you can…
